Hi,

I have 2 questions -

1. Why is zinc oxide so good in the treatment of rosacea? I'm using

the brown cea Ltd. disc and noticed that it contains zinc oxide,

along with several oxides, and many of you have mentioned Dr. Sy's

Zinco (which I haven't tried).

2. I noticed that Gloria is from St. Louis. I live south of St. L.

and wondered if you had found a dermatologist who specializes in

rosacea? I can't seem to find anyone who knows very much about this

condition. Everything I've learned has been from this group.

Thanks, so much.

Hi A,

Zinc oxide has anti-bacterial as well as anti-inflammatory

properties.

It takes care of the bumps and the redness and irritation.

Here's a url that has the best of our past messages explaining

treatments, suggestions. I'm sure the official zinc oxide

explanation

by Drs. Sy and Nase are in there.
