Guest guest
Hi everyone! Well, I wanted to let you all know that Sue is still at home, THANK GOD! She is doing Ok, and some of you have received thank yous for your thoughtfulness when she was in the hospital. She is still having SOME problems, but she's trying to deal with them as best she can. She went to the doctor today because she's having some urinary problems. She is still scared a little when her body isn't working very well, as she realizes how ill she was, and also that some things may never be a lot better than they are now (though if prayers are answered, they will be!). She's trying to find things to keep her busy to put her mind on more pleasant things; SO, we discussed her getting back on the list, and I think she's going to try that! She may not be able to keep up with everything on the list, but she will be able to communicate with us and to those emails she feels she wants or needs to answer. She misses receiving email, so you can send an email to her privately also. She did get dressed up this last weekend to attend a Christmas party with people that her and Jerry camp with. They only stayed an hour or two, but she did have a good time! It was nice for her to feel somewhat normal again, even for a couple hours. It did exhaust her though. My hope is that it will just take time, and with each day, even a few more minutes of strength will be good. In the meantime, please keep Sue in your prayers, and encourage her to get back on the list. We won't have big expectations of her - we'll be here for HER! I'd also like to ask that you remember (Lonestar Rose) at this time, because I know it's getting close to the time she will be taking and herself to appointments to try and figure out ' spell he had while Sis and I were visiting Sue, and an appointment for her with Dr. Heffez in Chicago regarding what needs to be done with her spine and cervical fusion. I haven't spoken with her in a couple weeks - she and her whole family had the terrible flu, and Lennie was hospitalized with pneumonia. It's been one thing after another for them as well! Please be patient with me, guys, but will include one more request, for Pam Moffat, who was kind enough to go visit Sue several times while she was in Cleveland. I know she recently had surgery as well. And of course, where would we all be without our wonderful list leader, Jill, who seems to answer our every question!!!! I hope she is NOT overdoing things since her own surgery!!!!!!! As much as we appreciate everything you do, Jill, if you overdo it, we may have to miss you yet again - so REST and RECUPERATE!!!!! Please? I didn't mean that as an order....well, maybe I did. <G> Thanks everyone!
