Guest guest
Hi, Vicky. Sorry it took so long to reply, but I haven't been on-line since Wednesday. I've been very sore lately (had another 12 hour shopping trip!!) and am really miserable. Went to my GP the other day and my CPK's are the lowest ever (166) so that's great news. Lungs are about the same. Thanks for asking. How the heck are you?? LOL. Dawn anzavic@... wrote: > Hi Dawn.... > > I've been thinking about you. How the heck have you been? Guest guest
Active and energetic doesn't make you a better mom. You just will have to do different things with your kids than other moms do. I have let all my daughter's teachers know about my condition so they know I am limited. It is easier since she is in junior high now because they don't ask for as much participation in class as they do in grade school. Even in grade school though, I would donate the party supplies and do the 'behind the scene' stuff and let other mom's do the physical stuff. I do that with her swim team too. There are always jobs that require sitting to do. With my 3 year old, we color, and do play dough a lot. He also rides his bike around our patio in the back yard which is fenced in. I will occassionally take him to the park but only with a friend who has already agreed to chase him if he runs off or pick him up if he falls. I have some very good friends around here. Don't think you are a bad mom. Being a good mom is more involved than just being active. Zanna
