* Update on where I stand *

Ok here is where I am right now.

CLOSE to surgery I can taste it. I have had all my pre-surgery testing done.

All the papers I need filled out. Psych eval and dietican meeting done. Endo

done. Last visit with surgeon before surgery done.

I met with my surgeon Sept 11th for the final visit. He said next time I see

" him " will be in the surgery room. He said within 7 days (tomorrow) he will

have sent the papers to the insurance company and then we wait for approval.

He said it could be as early as 2 wks for the approval but he gives a longer

time frame of 30-60 days. Once Im approved and have a surgery date.. I will go

in about 2 wks prior to surgery to the hospital (Norton Hospital in Louisville)

for a pre-surgery visit. Then it will be show time.

I dont know if I can wait for the approval or not. UGH I have been on this

journey since Feb when I called to get an apt for my first seminar meeting

(which was until April 25) So unoffically been since Feb offically since April

25.

Im guessing surgery will be around late October to mid November Just in time

for the holidays lol

Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I patiently (YEA RIGHT) wait for

the insurance approval and pray that it's a GOOOOOOOOO!

I am pretty quiet on these boards but I do read everything surgery related so

that I know what to expect and what MIGHT happen. thank you guys for the vast

realm of information.
