Guest guest
Well btn Macie, and Jess.....can't help but think there is a connection somewhere, I just have trouble holding my head together long enough to quite figure it out. we intially went over a year and a half seizure free on the diet, tried to treat kidney stone issues and messed up the acidity. Then through a comedy of errors we kept messing up acidity again and again. Finally her body would no longer hold the acidity, it had found some way to fight it. Then two years seizure free with the diet and diamox and BAMM - all he** breaks loose. At that point it was five yeras on the diet. Perhaps her body has just had enough.....the ketosis, the lack of growth I know of others who had great control on the diet for quite a while and then just lost it, some for no apparent reason, one where the guidance counsellor at school gave the kid a regular coke and then even with fasting ,there was no getting him back into ketosis again. Perhaps our kids' bodies are smater than we are.......? jgmsteele@... wrote: > Hi , > Just wanted you to know I'm keeping Jess in my thoughts and > prayers, too.
