Guest guest
Tonia, You are NOT getting in over your head. You can do it. It's going to be difficult, but where there is a will, there is a way. You're an intelligent woman, you are just freaking out due to being nervous. Make sure they know that when you get there... I can tell you it's hard to do. For several years, before I remarried, I worked 50 hrs. a week, took care of three children, etc. without help. I know how little time there is in a day... You are just going to have to arrange your schedule so you have time to study and take time for yourself to recharge. Petey will be the challenge, as he's so young, but you'll manage. Relax!!! Again, the best advise I can give you. These people at the school are trying to help you.... Jo
Guest guest
Jo, First Instinct....I'm doomed. Especially after only getting 3 1/2 hours of sleep....how the heck I'm going to drive the hour there, take the 2 hour test, talk to the Financial Aid advisor, and drive home an hour.....is beyond me. I'm getting myself in over my head......I just know that I am.... And, I have a feeling that it's all going to screw up my chances of getting the SSI that I'm fighting to get.....but, if I do work, I can at least get the work credits that I need to qualify to get the SSD instead........ ugh..... I'm doomed Tonia -------Original Message------- Tonia, The best thing you can do is RELAX. Not everyone tests well. From experience, I can tell you that you should always go with your first instinct, unless you have a good reason to change your mind. You were probably over analyzing! You'll be fine, I know it. Guest guest
Tonia first rule of thumb, dont stress yourself into circumstances that you have no control over, instead focus on what you do have control over and thats your strength and your desire to accomplish this. Know that you can get thru the drive, the test, the meeting and the return drive. That when you come home it will all be over with and you can relax, dont stress over it as it will tense up your muscles and make you feel 10 times worse. YOU CAN DO THIS!! Take that deep breath Tonia, you will be fine! Many gentle hugs! Donna
