Guest guest
I used to have Wonder Woman underoos. I wanted Spiderman, but Mom wouldn't get them for me because I am a girl. I bet Mike T. has Batman underoos... Guest guest
What kind of activities do your kids do? I know right now Kelsey is involved in soccer. On the night's she's at practice I can walk the sidewalks at the soccer complex. I have yet to do so; but we've only been to 3 practices and I was sick for one of those. I do plan on starting to do that. That's an hour of walking. :-) Maybe you could do something similar? W 380/305/160 R.D. Abernathy wrote: > Mike, > > I can relate. I had set a 25 lb weight loss goal for September, but I see now I was overly ambitious. I've just not had as much time as I would have liked to exercise as hard as I wanted. I've lost 2 pounds all month. We do need a new word for plateau. At this point, I would just be happy to make it to 219 (5 more pounds). > > How do you find time to exercise when you work full time, raising 2 children with extracurricular activities, and attending college? This was the challenge the psychiatrist said I would still face post op and that I needed to address it. He basically told me I would have to give something up in order make my health a priority. I can't give up on work; I need the money. I can't give up the kids, obviously; I love them way too much! That leaves me with school and I can't give that up when it is so close. I keep telling myself that things will get better after I graduate next May. Do things ever get better? I think I just need to sit down and plan a schedule that I can commit to sticking to. I feel exhausted most days already, not sure how I will have the energy for regular exercise. Any advice? > > Abernathy > 299/224/150 > Lap RNY: 5/3/06 > >

Guest guest
Great suggestion . I have a mini van so why can't I through my bicycle in the back and use it to get some fresh produce at a nearby store while my son/daughter is at practice or a game? Well their practices are in some areas with very high traffic dangereous roads so maybe that's a bad example. I do like to watch the games too but I could still walk around the outside of the field as I think it's a running track itself. That's going to be difficult in the winter too but then I'll just have to step up and do it I guess. Mike in GR > > Mike, > > > > I can relate.
