Sorry I never replied to your earlier post. There are so many and I am very busy with school, work, and caring for kids. Guest guest Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 Leeann, That's good news! Hopefully, the rest of your recovery will go well too. Sorry about not responding to the pre-op message. Sometimes it's all I can do to read the e-mails. My new grandson is three weeks old and I am trying to be a good grandma. I am about 3 weeks pre-op, aurgery is 10/25. I still have to go to the cardiologist on 10/16, for final clearance, because I had an abnormal EKG. Of course, I am scared that they will cancel the surgery for some reason. Take care and keep us posted. Guest guest Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 Debbie, I don't believe they will cancel you for surgery, however they will play close attention to your vitals during surgery, possibly changing your meds ahead of surgery to make sure you are in optimal health. Unless you show signs of severe heart disease...according to the nurses at the hospital where I had surgery. Just keep following the rules for healthy living and good luck to you.
