Hi,

I am wondering about poop.

Is it normal for mucous in stools to increase during

the first couple of weeks on the diet? I thought maybe

whatever has been sitting in there is now removing

itself, does that sound right? Also my son absolutely

stinks. His breath is horrible, even his skin smells

kind of rotten (he's been bathed regularly so I don't

think it's that!). We're a week and a half on SCD.

Yeah, the ones that wrote in yesterday going " Hooray

hooray! " :) Things are still good, the goodness is

*so* outweighing the bad!

Just wondering if anyone else found these symptoms.

Thanks

sarah

Sounds to me like he is detoxing and you've got yeast and bacteria dying off and

passing on through. Epsom salts baths can help him detox. Keep him well

hydrated, too. When the good outweigh the bad..... you're on the right track!
