impaired sulfoxidation and low reduced glutathione

I had the detoxification profile done from GSL and had very

conflicting results which have me very confused. I had my Dr. order

them......he doesn't know anything about these tests. I have yet to

find someone who can help me with this. My results showed depressed

plasma sulfate along with elevated plasma cysteine/sulfate ratio

which indicates impaired sulfoxidation ability. Taking prcursors

such as l-cysteine, nac or glutathione may make things worse. On the

other hand I have low reduced glutathione which suggests i need nac,

l-cysteine, etc..........So if I try to raise glutathione levels will

it make sulfoxidation impairment worse?!!!!!! I also have low plasma

Cysteine..........I am really confused as to what I should do.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Tammy
