Guest guest
HI maureen and thanks for your reply, but specifically when weighing pasta how many ounces do you consider a serving. 4 oz or 8oz usually for rice i consider 4 0z 3 pts but i am still confused with the pasta. i think i over eat pasta so i try and only have it once a week as a treat so to speak.~ANA~ "We first make our habits, and then our habits make us." Guest guest
The food companion says 1 cup cooked or 1 1/2 ounces uncooked. I use 4 ounces cooked for one serving. But that is my opinion, not sure what the "official" ruling is on it. When I first did it, I took 1 1/2 ounces uncooked and used that to figure how much it should be, now I use 4 ounces cooked so that I can cook all the pasta together instead of mine seperate. Hope this helps! Maureen weighing and measuring.
