Guest guest
Has anyone successfully substituted pecan flour for almond flour when making the bread recipe on the pecanbread website? My son Drake has been SCD for 10 months now, and he is still only in the 3rd stage because he is not yet tolerating raw fruits/veggies yet (mushy/watery stools). They're having a hard time getting him to eat at school, so I'm looking for alternatives, and he does not tolerate almond products at this point. He seems to be addicted to the cashew butter muffins, so I am looking for some alternatives. Behaviorally, he is doing pretty well. Still non-verbal, and laughs out loud, totally cracks up for no apparent reason. Likes to head bang for the pressure? He is sleeping great at night and doing pretty well otherwise, yet I have this sneaking suspicion we should re-visit the intro diet yet again. LOVES the nut yogurt! Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated at this point. Everything he eats is SCD legal. He does not take any illegal supps. Kindest regards, Drake 3.9 years/ASD/SCD 10 months
