What a weekend!

After going to see Deborah Gibson perform in my local town Thursday

night for a free summer concert, and walking all over the place AND

dancing my rear end off without feeling the least bit out of breath,

I decided to go through some clothing Saturday and Yesterday.

OMG! I bagged up 3 garbage bags of stuff that was size 4x-6x. I

didn't even REALISE my favorite shirt of recent years WAS a 5x!

Everything was HUGE! I even told hubby that he was going to have to

buy me a new leather coat when all this was over because my old one

now wraps around me twice!

All this at only two months post op!

I've lost 43 lbs since surgery and have lost a total of 96 lbs since

August of 2005. I can't believe I'm almost at the century mark! (I " m

getting a new tattoo as a reward and it's already picked out but not

sure when I can afford it) My sister in law is taking me to this

really posh restaurant this week as a celebration/last hurrah

because she's moving out of state in 2 weeks. We are going to be

having high tea.

My mom took me there pre-op and it was soo much food that we had all

kinds of leftovers, so I called them and asked if we could do food

for one and split it and get two pots of tea, and they said they

would be so happy to accomodate! So, I can have a finger sandwich or

two and drink my tea.

I start back to college in one week from today. If you had told me

that my life would have changed this drastically this fast, I'd have

said you needed to call the men in the little white coats. LOL..

It's all true though and not a dream!

I haven't weighted this since Fall 1999. I feel like I'm finally

getting my life back, my body back and feel good!

I start an exercise program with a personal trainer on Friday. I was

supposed to start today but I woke up, once again, with my sinus's

in an uproar including a massive headache. I've got the doctor

calling me in a script of liquid antibiotics to try and alleviate

this mess. It's been almost a month that they've been bugging me

almost every day. Must love Ohio. We have two seasons.. Orange

Barrel Season and Sinus Season. BLECH.

Two months post op and not one regret. I'm so glad I had this done!
