question about microdembrasion

Hi. I have had 4 photoderm treatments, and have been using hemp oil to

control my rosacea. My face is looking pretty good right now, I rarely have a

flare up , and not nearly as bad as they used to be. My derm. who has been

doing the photoderm has suggested I get some microdembrasion treatments to

help improve the texture of my skin. I have made an appt. for a treatment

next week, but am a bit wary. My face is looking pretty good right now, and I

hate to mess with it. However, it would be nice to have the texture smoothed

out a bit, and some old acne scars reduced. I know that the microdembrasion

procedure has been discussed a bit on this board, but I would really like to

hear some opinions from people who have had it done. I do not want to take a

chance to do anything that will cause my face to get red and irritated agan.

I plan to do at least one or two more photderm treatments as well, and

wondered if it is possible to do both in the same time span(not meaning the

same day, but a week or two apart).

My appt. is for April 26th, and i have come close to canceling it many

times out of fear that it will set my face to flare up again and become

irritated. Any info. I can get between now and then would really be

appreciated. I have asked a couple of dermatologists, and really cannot seem

to get a straight answer from them.

Thanks.

Andi
