There are times my son seems so "typical"...that is, until he enters a pool with chlorine (or even our jacuzzi) and then seems so autistic. It took a long time for us to see this but it has been observed by outsiders. We have used the cream magnesium sulfate and have given him Taurine and Candidase after swimming but neither had helped tremendously.

Unfortunately, we don't have a pool and we cannot convert all the water parks and pools of our friends and in the county to salt systems. We would if we could and he absolutely loves them so we can't say 'no' either.

to wash the chlorine off? yes, good thought but often it's already in their systems by then. we generally wash right away, or at the very least a rinse but it's already in him.

We had the same issue with the pool. We changed over to a salt system for $1,200.00. The change made a huge difference and now it only cost us $18.00 a month to maintain our pool. Win - Win.
