Guest guest
HI all.... Just a bit of clarification, the term vulvodynia is 'not' a diagnosis of a specific disease.. but simply means vulvar pain of a general sort based on complaints of the patient, when they don't know what else it is or what the cause is and something that sounds good to tell us. (We all want a definitive diagnosis I know.) ... But it's a collection of symptoms and a term that describes the condition of the vulva ('itis' means inflammation and vulva is where) and that would cover Vestibulitis, LS, LP, or even Psoriasis of the vulva or allergic contact dermatitis, etc., etc., so all of us here could technically fall under that umbrella term and we all have vulvodynia.
