Welcome back Sharon :)

So glad to see you again and learn that you had a great time on

vacation! I know what you mean about 'overdoing' it. We had

thanksgiving here this weekend and instead of staying on cruches and

resting my knee as much as possible (I sprained my knee on wednesday

and possibly tore the tendon minorly) I helped with supper and

walked around without crutches the entire time (it was a small house

with 2 rowdy dogs, 3 kids under 6 and 8 adults!) It was fun but man

am I paying for it now!!

Jan,

welcome back..dont think we have met..I am Ginny...sorry you had such a rough time during the hurricanes. Hopefully all of them are gone fore the season and you won't be hit again..3 times is bad enough. Hopefully your son's surgery will go well and he will be back on his feet in no time. Sorry to hear about your dr's lack of concern about his high risk patients...that sounds unethical to me. Hope you can get settled back into your home and the humidity quickly. take cae..Ginny"Mr. Jan G. Loeb" wrote:

I have found out, that this doctor has cut off a large bunch of his high risk patients. Its a big concern in this country for High Risk patients are being dumped.

Meanwhile we send billions to Iraq. Our Soldires are getting killed more each day.

I know a large part of you have been asking about what happened to me. As the first Hurricane came through Central Florida, and I had to live in the dark for 5 days with little food, no electric, no phone, no water, and the horrible heat, that my oldest son's wife drove 13 hours from East Tennessee to get me out of here. Then 2 more hurricanes came through here.

I just got power back on 3 days ago, and I came back.

As we traveled back to Florida, the heat and humidity hit me hard, as in the Tennessee mountains we did not have the high heat or humidity it was a lot cooler at night of course.

Just before I left Tennessee, my oldest son fell off of his truck, and fractured his L-1 Vert, and he will be having surgery next week. His wife had to bring me back here in a 26 hours turn a round from ville tennessee to Florida getting me food and going back to take care of my Son.

I want to thank all of you for asking about me and the many prayers that where sent.

Hugs

So good to hear from you Jan. Sorry so many things have happened to bring sorrow and grief to you and children. The world sure can be a very difficult place to walk through, but know you have given kids the ability to walk through all these struggles just as you are doing, even though sure you have wondered if you would really make it through. I have you in my prayers Jan and continue to pray that you will find a doctor that does have empathy for patients and is not fearful of the difficult. Take good care

Jan,

WELCOME BACK!!! I am glad to know that you are okay and that you weren't there for the other 2 hurricanes. Are there any plans for a permanent move after your son gets over his surgery? It sounds like the climate up there is better up there for you. I am glad to find out that you are doing okay.

Hi Group,

I am so glad that I am back. Just wanted to let all of you know that I couldn't receive email's and just wanted to let all of you know that I can receive them again.

The reason that I couldn't get e-mails was that I

left my computer on. When I leave it on the

Internet does not shut down, and everything keeps

running and it crowds my e-mail. Sorry it took me

so long to get back.

Sheri
