I know what you mean about 'overdoing' it. We had thanksgiving here this weekend and instead of staying on cruches and resting my knee as much as possible (I sprained my knee on wednesday and possibly tore the tendon minorly) I helped with supper and walked around without crutches the entire time (it was a small house with 2 rowdy dogs, 3 kids under 6 and 8 adults!) Hopefully all of them are gone fore the season and you won't be hit again..3 times is bad enough. Hopefully your son's surgery will go well and he will be back on his feet in no time. Sorry to hear about your dr's lack of concern about his high risk patients...that sounds unethical to me. Just before I left Tennessee, my oldest son fell off of his truck, and fractured his L-1 Vert, and he will be having surgery next week. His wife had to bring me back here in a 26 hours turn a round from ville tennessee to Florida getting me food and going back to take care of my Son. The world sure can be a very difficult place to walk through, but know you have given kids the ability to walk through all these struggles just as you are doing, even though sure you have wondered if you would really make it through. Just wanted to let all of you know that I couldn't receive email's and just wanted to let all of you know that I can receive them again. The reason that I couldn't get e-mails was that I left my computer on. When I leave it on the Internet does not shut down, and everything keeps running and it crowds my e-mail.
