Which reminds me...

I had the most unbeleivable craving for a BIG MAC last week. So I ordered it without the bun. (I am in phase 2) The fast food restaurants are doing that regularly now.

It came in a salad box, with the cheese, lettuce and dressing. Now, I KNOW the cheese and dressing weren't SB compliant, but I didn't feel guilty and I did lose weight that day. And it tasted sooooo good! It's not something I would do every day for sure, but it got me over the hump that day, LOL.

The other day at work, a young girl (probably early 20’s who is very needy and fragile in personality) came up to me with the cutest little grin. She had spent the night before trying to bake banana nut muffins. Well, she was excited and nervous for me to try one and give her my honest opinion of her creation. You better believe I ate one of those muffins (they were small thank goodness) loved it, but continued on with my way of eating from that point on. I wasn’t going to crush her feelings but I am also not going to beat myself up for one indiscretion.

As far as lunches….of course I’m sure your sick of salads… but I love to make a large salad with oil and balsamic vinegar dressing with blue cheese and chopped pecans. I will sometimes add chicken on it.

I try to make double dinners for the purpose of leftovers….

I just found at Sam’s club that they sell a 3 pound bag of broccoli (one of my favorite veggies) all cut up, washed and ready for the micro. So I know can have my broccoli within 3 minutes.

Turkey breast meat, low salt, with light parmesan slices and lettuce rolled up and dipped into a lite mayonnaise dressing flavored with dill and spices.

Chili….I always have a pot of chili brewing at the house. Ladle up a hot bowl with light cheese and lite sour cream on top with diced scallions.

Black bean soup…another large pot I usually have going in the house.

Large sirloin burger with either blue cheese or provolone melted on top with a side salad.

Shrimp stir fry..
