Guest guest
Dana and others - Can you describe the rash you've seen that is associated with the Vit. A? Thanks Ben > In my son's experience, you should keep the lower dose for a while. He might soon develop hyper and rash from the lower dose. I am > down to 1250 IU per day now. > > Congrats tho! My son's vitamin A toxicity rash is red bumps, dry and scaly, and itchy. Mostly on his legs, then spreading to his belly and arms. Guest guest
OK thanks Dana - My son's visuals are back a bit after bringing him down to his old dose of 5000 clo per day split am pm. I may try the whole protocol again and go alittle higher as you did. My son did show signs of toxicity during his maintenace doses of 20,000 - 100,000. One being some fluid retention (reduced urination?) and the rash which would pop up in different spot like it was travelling. Mostly knees, thigh and butt. Perhaps I'll wait for awhile ala McCandless - 6months. Some improvements remain but the visuals are back. Any ideas? I'm using the palmitate. My son's rash did not travel, it spread. It never left where it initially started. My son is also slightly hyper when he has the toxicity rash. Well, for my son, depending on other factors, it would mean either I needed to do the high dose again [if 100,000 IU did not produce the rash], or I needed to reduce the dose. Right now even 1250 IU per day seems high, he still has the toxicity rash, so I am giving him another day off. Good luck. Dana
