Hi All,

I would like to add digestive enzymes to my daughter's diet. Her

keto clinic isn't really familiar with using these while on the diet.

So...

1) Have you had support from your dietian and have they helped factor

these in.

2) I would like to be able to tell them the names of the

hospitals/facilities where there are people who are using these. I

know they will accept the idea better if I say: " I know someone who

is seen out of --blank-- is giving their child these enzymes.

3)I would like some suggestions for brands and sources.

Abby is very delayed and is still eating baby food consistency

meals. She does not use her hands and therefore is completely spoon

fed. Her is latest meal plans allow her only a max of 5grams of carb

(strained squash, carrots or green beans) per meal (600cal/day @

4:1). She HATES the fat and protein we give her now (finely ground

chicken or beef mixed with mayo-we are now on a dairy free diet), but

loves the carbs. We use the carbs to get her to swallow (i.e. gag

down) the nasty fat/protein mix. We can give so few carbs this is

getting harder and harder to do. By added the digestive enzymes we

are hoping to help her digest protein better and therefore increase

her serum pre-albumin numbers. This would allow for an increase in

her carbs and decrease the protein while remaining on the 4:1 ratio.

Thank for your help

mom to Abby, 15 months.
