Guest guest
Booooooo... Being sick should be illegal. :-( Hope you are all better soon!!! Penny My Xmas sucked too Well, my 12 year old came down with the flu the night before Xmas eve, then yesterday morning, my 2 year old woke at 6 am and was just sitting in the chair (this NEVER happens). After a half hour, I went over to him and he was burning up. Temp 102.5! My husband's family cancelled because my father-in-law is having cancer treatment and he can't get sick. So Xmas day, I sat with two sick kids. At least my husband was here and we took the tree down, cleaned up the house. *looks around* ok, It needs it again. On the strange side, my son has been so easy to handle. He's finally saying bye-bye too and using it appropriately! (Guess that was my Xmas present). My mom starts chemotherapy next month, and she came for Christmas Eve so I hope she doesn't get sick. I think they'd postpone beginning if she's sick, right? ...the nighttime sniffling sneezing achy stuffy head medicine provider.

Guest guest
So sorry things didnt work out very well. But you were together with your family(sick as they may be) and that is a blessing. Jacquie H (who is ducking just in case she was too positive and is about to get smacked.) Guest guest
Yuck. Sorry it went so badly . I hope the kids get over their illnesses soon and your mother doesn't get sick. I hope her chemo works for her, too. Very cool about 'bye-bye'! Sue'

He's finally saying bye-bye too and using > it appropriately! ( Ah, yes, the joy of a sick autistic child. I've often said I wish could have a mild fever ALL the time -- for just those reasons! He becomes a sweet, easy-to-handle child who makes a bit of progress when he's sick. Lots of parents have found this...but nobody knows why. It's lovely, though, isn't it? Guest guest
I think Christmas just sucked all the way around this year. Ours wouldn't have been too bad, if it weren't for that damned tornado and ensuing heartbreak from a crushed trampoline. If there is a God, and I'm not saying there isn't, why is he so pissed off at me??? Sissi
