Guest guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Share Posted April 18, 2002 Lelia, over the weekend was very hot. It cooled off during the week. Actually saw our breath on a couple of mornings. I woke up this morning and it was 63 degrees in the house. It warmed up today some more but on the news this morning it said that we were colder than everyone else in the country!!! Go figure. It's ok with me. I am already dreading the 110 degrees we get in late July thru early Sept. HATE that!!! Not near me though but when I am near my mom in law I will go to that one sometimes. Of course that is next to JoAnn fabric which I cannot go near because it calls out to me and begs me to spend money......I do like the tuesday mornings though!! I does get around a 100 hear in may and june too. It is just not as humid as some areas so it isn't 'that' bad. Although, I hate heat also, but I would rather have 110 here than 80 in wisconsin where I grew up. The humidity there is unbearable and the mosquitoes-uk! First of week it was hot and windy..today it was very cool and windy and they are talking about another rain storm coming thru tonight. I went to Garden Ridge Tues. (it is a cross between WalMart, Hobby Lobby and the Tuesday store). Naturally the elec was out of order so had to wheel myself around in their less than perfect wheelchair. Co-workers tell me they never really know when I'm angry because I'm always smiling! Trying to be a tough broad! I have 3 sons...24, almost 22 (he's Taurus, too) and 20. The 22 yr. old is married and lives in OK. The 24 yr old is manic depressive, trying to get his life together and lives with me. My "baby" just tonight told me he is moving out, getting an apartment with his best bud...and I have been in tears all evening. Life has always been tough with the 24 yr. old, he's no help in the house. Now I really have to think about what I need to do for myself! Ha! Should be interesting... Yes, they grow up way too fast... Guess I should get a boyfriend, huh?? Yeah, sure! At almost 53, that's harder than I imagined. Seems all these men want is a quick roll in the hay...very odd...lol!!! Here I thought these guys matured as they got older. I have three daughters aged 23 (will be 24 in July), 21 (a Taurus who turns 22 on May 19th) and 20. Our middle one also has manic depression so I know how hard life can get. She is looking for a place to live. Understand it's hard, but it's time for her to move out on her own. She works full time. I know she won't be to far from home. Where are you?
