Thanks for the bfed growth charts!

I want to thank everyone that sent those in. Cory had his 1st Year check up

and immunizations Tuesday. He is 29 3/4 inches tall and 19 7/8 pounds. He

isn't fat and isn't thin. Just right. He is just starting to eat solid

foods as he has never eaten any baby foods- we've tried since 6 months. I

always offer and he will either try it and scrape it off his tongue.

(Really rather cute!)

Anyway, his ped said he was in the middle of her charts for height and

almost off the charts (below) for his weight. I asked her if he looked

unhealthy (not!) and she said no that she was just concerned for him and he

should be weighing in a little heavier. (Whatever!)

Anyway, I looked up on the bfed charts and am pleased to note that he is

about 50% on both. Perfect! So I printed out the charts and the web address

and will take it in with me in 6 weeks - she wants me to offer him food 4

times a day and come back in 6 weeks. Like I am forcibly NOT giving him

food and but he wants it?!?!?! Whatever.
