Hi Kim,

I had my baby 7 months ago, and I refused everything. Vitamin K

injections are statistically associated with cancer. The baby needs

the antibiotic in the eyes only if you have gonorrhea, but I assume

that you do not. Good luck!

Kim, congrats!!!! I refused the hepB vaccine when my now 15 mo old

was born. I told every nurse that I request documentation for no

vaccine. I read the vit K package insert and it was thimerosal free.

you can request the package insert from the hospital pharmacy (or

your labor nurse can request). So, we did get the vit k shot. They

didn't even try drops with Dinah this time, same hospital as other

two babies, same doc.

Pls, when you have this baby, take some time and enjoy, try not to

worry about autism to the point of missing this wonderful moment.

I'm talking from experience here :-)

HTH and good luck!
