Guest guest
Hi guys, there is something really wrong with my 4 yr old sons stomach. He woke up about 2am Sunday morning throwing up. He continued this until about 12:30 that afternoon. He kept saying he was fine, nothing hurt, he had no fever, and certainly didn't act like a sick child. This also happened Sunday night and Monday night. Tues, and Wed. he was fine all night. Then last night he woke up once again throwing up. He has also had very loose bowel movements. I am taking him to the Dr. this morning but was wondering if you guys might have any ideas for me. No fever throughout the entire thing, and of course he's like most other ASD children pain isn't something that bothers him.....any ideas for me? I've ruled out any diet infractions, we had stopped ALL his supplements a while back because he wasn't sleeping at all so it's not a supplement....what could it be? Guest guest
You may want to investigate if he has the roto (sp) virus. My AS son caught this at age three and was hospitalized for a week with near kidney failure from dehydration from the vomiting and diarrhea. GET HIM TO A DR. RIGHT AWAY BEFORE HE BECOMES DEHYDRATED!!! [ ] Tummy Troubles Please HELP > Hi guys, there is something really wrong with my 4 yr old sons > stomach. He woke up about 2am Sunday morning throwing up. Guest guest
Thanks for your response. I took Mikey to the Dr. this morning. They are running a bunch of tests, and hopefully we will get an answer. She mentioned pancreatitis, which I doubt since there is no fever. Anyway hopefully we'll get some answers. I know that so many of our children have gastrointestinal issues and assume that it's more something like that than anything. He is drinking well, eating juice pops, and actually eating well also. I definently will keep an eye on him though for dehydration! Sam --- In , " Zooker66 " <zooker66@s...> wrote: > You may want to investigate if he has the roto (sp) virus.
