Lin ===================================== Lin, right now everything is screwed up because I ran out of my Topamax 1 1/2 weeks early due to how the doctor wrote out the prescription. The First month, I was to take 1-100mg pill a day for 2 weeks, and then take 2-100mg pills a day. Well, he had written it out for the First month plus 1 refill......and so they gave me the refill with the same instructions......instead of having it raised up to 200mg every day for the full month. So....in between not having my Topamax right now, its let my Migraines start back up, I had the flu for 3 days, and major Flare ups from both the RSD and Fibromyalgia. I haven't been online much though because of the Migraines and because I think that my Sciatic Nerve is going crazy and is affecting my hip/lower back area also...making it almost impossible to sit down, lay down or stand up even! I'm really starting to wonder if the depression is EVER going to let up....it just keeps getting worse and worse anymore. Like tonight......it was my turn to drive myself, my MIL and SIL to the Casino just so that me and my Mother-in-law could get out of the house for once......and by the time I got out the door, my sister in law had already parked her butt in the driver's seat of MY Car!!! She said that Gene told her that I wouldn't be able to drive that far......but I found out that Gene never said such a thing. My Sister0in0law always seems to think that she has to drive no matter Who's vehicle she's in, and she doesn't care what anyone else says. But, I DID get to have some fun at her expense!!! hehehehe She went out to Iowa University Medical Center in Iowa City....a five hour drive one way........and the papers she got said that she might have Fibromyalgia....and, according to her and my Mother-in-law, my SIL has every single symptom.....>EXCEPT she hasn't had the Tender Points Test done yet!!! I had 11 our of 11 tender points that they touched go insane when they did the test.......and Genia hasn't had it yet. Well, I told her that you at least have to have 7 out of 11 tender points pass the test to show if she has Fibromyalgia.....that just having a paper stating the symptoms doesn't prove anything. AND THEN!!! I told her the best place around here to be treated for Fibromyalgia.......hehehehehehehe......I was sent to this place by W/C.......and believe me, the doctors there has no bedside manners or brains! So, if she does go to that place, I will have so much fun laughing my ass off!!! She also didn't like it when I told her that the only things that helps Fibro is Exercise/Exercise/Exercise, anti-imflammatories, and anti-seizure meds, and if any pain med is needed, it will be a NON narcotic. Needless to say, she didn't like that last part........probably because she was looking more for a high than she is for medical help! I don't know about you but I never get any high from my pain medications. Tonia, Have you talked to anyone doctor, therapist about your depression? Because when mine starting to overwhelm me, my doctor started me on a new anti depressive. I know this is a rough month for you like August is a rough month for me, so feel free to give me a call if you need to. I gave Stacey the number but I don't know if she got it in time or not.
