I have to wear gloves or mittens when working in the freezer.... I'm told it's from Raynaud's Syndrome which is caused by Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which I have BOTH~! Guest guest
I too have a sensitivity to cold and have to wear gloves and I also have to take med's to increase my peripheral blood flow, I am told that mine is due to my RSD but I also have Raynauds and TOS but my Raynaud's is NOT caused by my TOS it is something that runs in my family and there are MANY reasons/ causes for it, including having Primary Raynauds (Raynaud's for No reason). RSD causes a severe reaction to cold and to me it does burn, it can also cause RSD to spread so I say well away from ice and cold, and have to make sure I stay warm in Winter and wear gloves etc when handling things in the freezer or even a cold drink.I was diagnosed with " True Raynauds Disease " when i was 12 yrs old (but I was NEVER told about it, and only found out when I tracked down my medical records and read it in my fine (along with a LOT of other things we were NEVER told). You are NOT alone in this.
