Guest guest
This is part of a letter I just sent to our Pediatrician to update him on the effects of Zoloft and enzymes together - not that he thinks much of the Enzymes (very old school) but ok with other stuff. Brief background for those that don't know us: is 10years verbal, very delayed, very social - Autistic, Todd is 6 years very very delayed non verbal, but happy and lovely. We have had enormous stomach problems (surgery etc.) Todd still has a gastostomy from tube feeding - long history of acute/cronic pain intolerance's to food in general - but with all the biological intervention we are getting there slowly. I have chelated, used enzymes, diet interventions, supplements (they do not tolerate most of them) recently culterelle was not tolerated but I will work on this, I want to do monolaurin and will in the future as I am looking down that direction because Todd WAS NOT vaccinated at all, and only had 2 lots, but still he dumped heaps of mercury when I chelated. I have now read 's book and I am happy to follow her lead as they seem so tolerant of the Zoloft with the enzymes (only Zyme at this stage) so update as follows: is sleeping until 7.00am most mornings (unless he eats something challenging to his system) which is just amazing he is happy the terrible crankiness has gone, he is easier to guide ie: when I say no not much of a problem, I haven't told school he is on Zoloft but his daily reports are improving - yesterday he worked hard on his math's and reading for 25 mins and increasingly does not need monitoring - will work on his own. No side effects at all and is eating really well - seems like hopefully a long good patch ahead of us. Mitch is on 1/8 - of the 50mg Tablet Zoloft, enzymes - Zyme Prime, magnesium., selenium Todd a little different but - really good - sleeping better, eating is good with lots of help by me but manageable - getting it in - his reports from school is that he is more independent and following instructions well ie: organising his unpacking of his bag and generally understanding simple instructions. I find him at home a lot more determined and bulshy - but I think this is a really good thing he is acting like a 2 year old (apart from not talking) this is something he hasn't done before - also has really learnt the enjoyment of riding in his car, and being naughty - by taking things and running away laughing - generally having me on. But when I do puzzles and matching games etc. he sits well and seems focused and finishes everything I want him to do. I take him horse riding once a week and he has gone from hating it to laughing and climbing on the horse he is so keen. But I have to say not tolerant of the helmet -could n't handle the strap under the chin bit. Todd is on same as . Regards Terri NZ
