I can find virtually nothing about it, nor any type of treatments, and its bugging the tar outta me!! Anyone have any ideas???***** I was in the same boat trying to hunt down this very same subject. It all refers back to PM.... If my hands are not split open I use vaseline during the night time. I cover my hands with a generous amount then put on white cotton gloves. Sleeping with the gloves on during the night is best but I can no longer do that. My hands get to hot so I only have the gloves on for a couple of hours. It softens the hard skin and stops the cracking. If they're already cracked I put on Cortisone cream and put bandaids on it so the cream has a chance to really get in there to heal it. Today my hands looks pretty good but soon they will look like I've been working out in the yard. I get tough skin on my palms and undersides of my fingers. Some get pretty sore. If you find anything on this subject please let me know.... Hope you're feeling better today and able to eat something.
