Guest guest
Hi Jane, Thank you for the welcome. Oh Jane I can truly relate to your daughter. As a child Inever knew my parents to be healthy. At 9 yrs old I watched my motherdie of kidney failure due to diabetes. My siblings and I spent thenext 6years with my father in and out of the hospital with heartproblems. Then having his nephew come home from thier night out totell us he had died, I was 16. I attribute alot of my weight problems to my childhood or lack ofone. It left me unwilling to form lasting relationship for fear ofgetting too close and then loosing them. So food became my constentcompanion.Sad to say I have not overcome either problem. So I think you are giving your daughter a very special gift, agift of a lifetime, your lifetime. sincerely, in MA
