I've seen that video, too. I'm not sure it's evidence of

intoxication -- maybe just being a mush mouth and none too bright.

Interesting... what I'm wondering is, if you're an average officer of the

law, what level of provocation is required before you hand a DUI to a fellow

whose father is currently Director of the CIA?

Dave I saw that to. Home boy was lit. :0) I don't have the link any longer

unfortunately. You do realize if you forwarded that link to CNN (with a

quickie explanation) you would probably cause holy hell for the Bush

campaign right now.

Bob thanks for the link:

I'm going to stick with my earlier assessment old boy was lit.

If anyone has that link would they mind posting it?

I'd love to see this video, if it's available on the web.

There have been persistent rumors that W. was arrested for DUI

and/or cocaine possession in Texas.

A book containing such allegations was withdrawn from publication by

St. 's Press (IIRC) because the author had a criminal record

some year back. The mainstream media seemed to take the Bush denials

at face value and did very little investigative work.

I suspect that there may be more disclosures out there.

I bet ol Dub got busted for more than DWI, but the old man got the records

destroyed when he was DCI. Somebody out there knows about it///the price

hasn't gotten good enough yet.

The price would have to be pretty damn good to be worth giving up your goods on the pres. A pres by the balls is a good firned indeed. So are ya surprised?

No provocation needed, the only thing needed would be the cop's own ignorance... I don't know who the current CIA director is, but of course I'm not a cop. Still, I bet some cops out there don't know every important G-man. Ya think maybe W said, "you'll lose your job for this you fool." I am sure either major presidential candidate has had people fired. So what. I hope America doesn't choose to be Gored. But what choice is there?

They just showed a clip of him on nightline giving his last drinking date as

86. If the date on the clip from the wedding is correct he's going to get

burned and bad.

Since it's been webbed for some time (I think it was on gwbush.com)

do you really think the networks are unaware of it?

checked out gwbush.com, great site, he actually bumped into

Neil bush by chance last Aug. in philly. any ways, you were right,

they do have a link to it, but its not a direct link, you have to

navigate thru a 2nd page which isn't very clear, so it may have

zipped in under radar, but probably not. either way i feel good for

doing my patriotic duty of mud slinging a presidential candidate

with the press. america is great!

As in all things humans have a capacity to forget. A little reminder won't

hurt and frankly I'd love to see them segway from Bush saying his last drink

was in 86 to the drunk scene in 92. Where they start off with him saying

" It's an election year "

But hey that's just me.

There's so much information out there that frankly most probably missed it

and even if they didn't now would be the best time to rehash it.

That's the spirit Dave. The hairs on the back of my head are standing all

on end. All we need now is the national anthem playing softly in the

background and we've got ourselves yet another Kodak moment.

Also while some may remember the clip they may not tie in the dates.

i can dream the wonderful dream that all disenfranchised kooks

share, that one lone nut can bring down a candidate. oh

wouldn't it be grand if this started a chain reaction with the media

and turned the tide in the polls and brought down a $180

million campaign?. when the election is over and bush loses, ill

do a live satellite feed with ted kopple on the Internet

empowering the individual and the changing face of politics, and

i will be sure to wear my 12-monkeys T-shirt.

Super Dave takes down the Gov.

http://digital-ones.tripod.com/home/Tx12Step.htm

Video of the gov on last drink in 86. Pay close attention to the last

sentence. He says it was the right decision for him to make.....Then. Odd

little pause there. If this issue is raised I see the gov claiming a change

of heart right around the 92 time frame because he could handle his liquor

then after 5 or 6 years of abstinence. In any event I think we just spotted

how to tell when the gov is stretching the truth.

Is it me or is his hair finally loosing the silver white dye they put in it

for the debates to give him that elderly statesman appearance..
