It caused him to be temporarily comatose. Two others died, not after an MRI, but heat therapy called diathermy. It emits the same radio-frequency as an MRI. I'll have to look on the News-Gazette website and see if they have it on there so you could read the whole thing. I'm glad I have a medical bracelet, because I sure wouldn't want them doing one on me, not realizing I had one. That could easily happen if I was driving alone and they didn't find my purse right away. So do not let them do heat diathermy, like in P.T. if you have a spinal column stimulator!! Love, N. Hi , I have a medical ID bracelet too, it is a very good idea. You stated some very important reasons. Another good reason is that with the meds that alot of us are on they must be administered to avoid withdrawals. When I went to the hospital on Aug. 18th for my surgery I realized that I had forgotten to put on my Duragesic patches. In four years I have never forgotten but that morning I took a shower, took off the old patches and spaced out on putting the new ones on. (I was very nervous about going to the hospital.) While I was in pre-op I told them and they put the patches on right away. I felt like a total idiot but at least a medicated idiot LOL!!! Take care all, Love Jai

Guest guest
Hi Jai Yes I have had 3 doctors say I have RSD,but no one will put it in writing, I am going to see a SSID doctor on the 27th of this month, I am on neurotin, oxycontin, elavil, zoloft, and verapamil. I must be the sickest person, who has nothing wrong with him. Guest guest
Kenny, I do not understand, why will they not write it down, what are they afraid of, do you have any idea? This just is not close to being logical to tell you that you have rsd then not put it in your medical records............have you asked them why they won't write it down? I am so sorry Kenny, this has got to be beyond painful as far as just being so darn sad. To have to fight to get the truth written down is nuts. I am sorry Kenny. Take care, Hugs JoAnn s Momma Re: Digest Number 2555 In a message dated 9/18/04 7:00:41 AM Pacific Daylight Time, RSD-CRPSofAmerica writes: I am having a real problem, and it is really upsetting me.
