Guest guest
Lynda, Kennedy takes an excessively long time to " come down " at the end of the day and go to sleep. We have used Melatonin (herbal) - it worked for some, but not for Kennedy. From what I've read on the list, the sleeping/getting to sleep issues are extremely common. Guest guest
has had this same problem. Melatonin (up to 3mg thus far; she is 21) and Trazadone at 50 mg. I THINK, but only that, the Trazedone is supposed to help her stay asleep, while the Melatonin helps get her there. Over Christmas, she delighted in waking @ 3:00 despite the meds, heading back to sleep in our bed after a few hours. I never figured out what was causing this change. The meds, however, were essential. Martha
Guest guest
Martha, My Mark 22 is on Trazodone 75mg 3 times a day. I RARELY use Melatonin though I have in the past. He was put on the Trazodone to help with some intesnse self abuse issues. It has worked extemely well. He is now though as an added benefit sleeping MUCH better.
