Welcome to all the new members!! I have been out of town visiting family for

Christmas.

To ND: I retired on medical disability from the US Dept. of Justice.

They said I would never get it and I got it within one week of applying. I did

not want to retire, but like you, working while taking narcotic meds did not

help. I also could not handle carrying around the massive medical transcripts

and files I had to deal with everyday.

None of us want to give up jobs or other parts of our lives that we treasure

or enjoy. However, the time comes that we have to do certain things to try and

slow down the deterioration of our bodies from our painful, chronic conditions.
