Know should wait and see how this started Ginny and Donna, but since talked

to Ginny about getting group together by meeting half-way and getting room

at bed and breakfast or hotel and split costs...have to just say to anyone

that is writing about this please keep me involved as want to be with

ya'll.........so want to get together and talk and laugh, play cards, eat

just have time to meet. Ginny let me know, Donna how are you doing, have

you had any news Donna about the SCS? I may of missed it but have not read

anything about how your medical is doing. Take care you two. Hugs

Any traveling at this point out of New England (at least driving)

should wait til Spring in my opinion. The weather is just too

unpredictable to chance freak storms. Besides it gives us plenty of

time to save up for the trip.

As far as anything going on with the SCS or otherwise...everything is

at a standstill at the moment awaiting a report from the neurologist

I will see next week. He will decide my fate Im guessing. I'm not in

OT anymore and they denied my stress counseling so Im in limbo you

might say.

I certainly hope that they make a decision soon however since it is

spreading a little more each day and the burning crops up in

different places. It used to run just under my arm and along my mid

back, now its all the way down my arm to my wrist and all across my

back. My wrist is swollen from lack of therapy in the last few days

and dont even get me going on the sweats LOL.

Anyway, thats my tale of woe from the hallows of New England.

How are you doing Joann? Behaving I hope!

Pam I do not know for sure but think this is about 2 different things. First Barbara, Tricia live close together, then Ginny and Donna close to each other and they are talking of meeting each other for themselves and when Nation gets in the area they all live in, she wants to meet these 4 ladies and they are trying to get together to meet .

Ginny and I also talked and we brought up idea of Ginny, Donna, Tricia, Barbara, Dawn, and all others in Northeast driving down perhaps Somewhere in Virginia or Kentucky not sure but some where that those who live in Carolina's, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana, and all way to Oregon could either drive, or fly to a specific place, nothing big, but stay in town that has neat little craft shops, and just nice small town. Talking about a bed and breakfast or hotel, which ever choose and getting 4 to room to save money, buying deli, peanut butter, tuna whatever and saving money by making sandwiches etc. in room and eating out but not expensive place. That way more could come.

So Pam, just want to clarify what I think..which is a joke really....but what I think the conversations have been when talking of meeting. Not all are of something. Make sense? Hope so and GINNY, please explain better where I messed up. Even at worse pain level you can always make sense to what I mess up.

Pam we, Ginny and I, were thinking about end of April, to 1st week of May to meet as that would give each person a chance to save money for trip. We want to play cards, talk of course, laugh, maybe cry, and perhaps go out and walk around looking in stores, those that are able to, and others may choose to rest, sleep. Just know we would all understand since we all know how pain can keep us down. Trying to get it that we stay for 2 full days and nights and leave on 3rd day back to homes unless some can stay longer then fine. But just wanted to have 2 nights together. So hope I wrote this correct and makes sense.

Again GINNY, please help where I make no sense. And please, get feeling better. I am back to bed in about 5 minutes. Sick today. AGAIN.

Hi Joann

We have discussed it briefly and will think more on it after the

holidays are out of the way. Money for me until I erturn to some sort

of employment is stretched pretty thin so who knows when I will be

able to travel any further than my ow home town but we shall see.

I have had better days Im afraid. I have been having some burning

that isnt the usual for me, this goes down my entire forearm and part

of my hand instead of just the normal places I've been having it, on

top of that when its not burning its numb over most of the top of my

hand and the discoloring is starting to return at the forearm area. I

was in to see my pain clinic dr today so she could document it and

she basically said there wanst much to be done til after I see the

neurologist next Tuesday as they (the insurance co) are denying

everything I've requested at the moment. So she increased my

neurontin to 2400mg/day and basically siad the rest was just changes

in the RSD and wasnt much to be done, the numbness isnt hindering my

pulse which made her happy however my fingertips were cold and my

skin was mottled. Its better now but the numbness is still there.

Your just so darn good the way you reply to messages. I cannot understand

why insurance is causing such a problem for you. Do you have any idea what

has caused this to happen? I just cannot understand what is causing them to

base their opinions on? Do you have clue? Please take care. I do hope you

can ride down with Ginny or someone to where we choose to meet. I think

alot will share car rides if live close enough to do so. And think with

deli meat and peanut butter and jelly should keep food down to dollar amount

most would eat in week of food. Is a shocker sometimes to find out just how

much we eat during a few days but worth finding out just to meet all I can.

Please take good care and know I have you in prayers today and always.

hi all,

Joann mentioned to me how she would really like to meet everyone at some point..and I agreed. I also know money is an issue for everyone on here including myself..with little or no income..medical expenses and prescriptions..there is no money left over for extras..like trips. I also know there are issues with getting someone to watch the kids...or traveling due to pain...or traveling due to distances and not liking to fly because of cramped situations on flights and not being able to stretch and lots of other things. JoAnn then suggested that instead of eating out if we all met that deli meats, peanutbutter and jelly, or tuna sandwiches and chips...and buy some cereals and milk...to save on the cost of eating out. Then to make it more ideal to find a spot where most could drive to even if say donna and i went to western mass on the way to pick up barabara and tricia and then share the driving between a few people instead of driving alone 6-7-10

hrs....depending of course how far and how many stops needed to stretch. All staying at 1 hotel and maybe finding out beforehand if we all stay there if they were willing to give all the rooms a discount....and sharing rooms...2-4 to a room depending on what people thought. lol Joann has graciously decided I would find the ideal spot for this all to happen...I am willing to look at places but want some imput from others also. First of all where everyone is located and try to find a happy medium for all. Second where most people are located and maybe find a state between the 2 states with the most people to make it easier for more to come. Third an interesting place so people who want to can use it for a "real" vacation and sight see if they want to...or for others to just hang out at the hotel and play cards..talk...and then nap if need be. If anyone is interested..and wants to come along...please let me know. I was thinking april vacation

is always good for vacations but the problem is that different states take their vacations different times. But by the end of june all are out of school...i don't know what would be easier for all to do with kids...I know it would be easiest if the kids were out of school so maybe I could have my mother watch them..or out of school and bring them along for people who do not have babysitters. Just thoughts right now...nothing in stone...or really planned out...if not alot of people can do it or show interest...there may not be enough to even get it rolling...so any thoughts would be welcomed....Hugs...Ginny
