Guest guest
Hi friends. We are continuing to struggle with my little boy 's (10 y.o.) post-diet feeding issues. He's been in the hospital for a week and have decided the best solution (although the most invasive one) is a feeding tube directly to his stomach. For 3 weeks or so, until the surgery. He is just not eating even in the hospital being fed intravenously PPN. And we know how nauseated and upset a nose tube would be. And leaving and letting him home w/out eating is just not a good idea. So I am asking anyone who's child uses it to let me know how it works and whether it gets infected or whether you can use regular food in it. etc.. Any thoughts? My poor boy! Take care all...
