Guest guest
Sorry to hear your mom is in such a state of denial; it's good that your dad wants to help you, though. Is there anything he can do to help you out to get the adaptive devices that you need? Chantelle wrote: Ugh you know what. I swear my parents have compleatly reverced from the way they thought when i was a little kid. Now my dad is totaly into understanding the medical issues, understands that i do have vision and hearing and totaly bends over backwards to help me out, yet my mom is in compleat denile that i have hearing and vision problems! Guest guest
He has given me money for my new white cane and pays my cable/internet bill so i dont have to worry bout that. Dad helped pay for my last pair of glasses. (not the sunglasses cause Welfare paid that one) He wont help pay for the big things though. Dunno why. Says i have to find a way to pay for all the stuff on my own. Silly dad. He is getting more understanding but its still a long way off from perfect, lol.
