Word question - OB/GYN

Hi everybody,

This is my first account, I just started working for real yesterday. Doing

real work is sure a lot different than what you encounter in class.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any help I could get, since I'm still really

inexperienced. This is what I have . . .

" . . .for evaluation of her vaginal bleeding. This patient is an

81-year-old - s/l gravi defied para 5- who has been having vaginal

bleeding . . . "

It sounds kinda like " gravity defied para 5 " or " gravity defied grade 5 " or

something like that. The Dr. speaks fluent English and is easy to

understand for the most part.
