Guest guest
Pattie, Could be. I think the people in the Raleigh/Charlotte area were really affected. I am about two/three hours from that area and we haven't had anything but rain. Dyan
Guest guest
Over the mountain east from you - Friedens, PA, just outside of Somerset. I'm about three miles from the Quecreek mine, where the miners were trapped. Pattie Hope Kremer wrote: > Here in the Greensburg, PA area we got about 5 inches of snow. Guest guest
Here in the Greensburg, PA area we got about 5 inches of snow. The weather man last night stated that the snow was going to miss us. He was wrong, AGAIN. I laughed when we woke up, I told hubby last night, " watch--we're going to get it all " . We did. Schools were canceled and kids have already been outside playing. I love the first day of a snow fall, after that, it can just go away. Patty--You stated you were in SW PA, exactly where are you? Guest guest
Pattie, Nope nothing here in NC. It is chilly though. Stay warm and safe. Dyan
Guest guest
No, just rain and wind and more rain and more wind. We are expecting several days of it. We have been on the dry, mild side so far this year and we needed it, but it did not have to come all at once! I think the local skiers had something to do with it, as they will now open for ski season. I am happy to leave the snow in the mountains where I can look at it or visit it, but do not have to deal with it in my driveway. Hope you stay safe and warm. -- Snow Anyone else snowed in today? We've got at least eight inches of the stuff here in SW PA, and it's a heavy, wet snow. Underneath it is a layer of ice from the freezing rain we had first yesterday.
