looking for a legal cod liver oil

hi. i recently saw a post saying that nordic naturals flavored liquid

cod liver oil had ingredients that were suspect. i wrote to them and

here's what they told me.

" The orange flavor in our cod liver oil comes from oil from the rind

of the

orange.

Nordic Naturals Customer Service "

it sounded legal to me. can someone let me know if it is okay to use

on SCD.

the kirkman flavored cod liver oil has lemon oil and lime oil and

nothing else but the cod liver oil. that also sounds legal to me.

any help would be appreciated.

We use Kirkman's unflavored Cod Liver oil. It's legal & both my boys

take it straight no problem. Hope this helps!

While on Lyris Elaine wrote, " I never said orange essence from a

good company was illegal. It isn't on my website; I just went there

and looked. As for what orange essence is - I imagine it has the

compounds which convey taste extracted by organic chemists or such. "

So, the CDO with orange essence (orange oil) should be okay.
