Guest guest Posted December 16, 2002 Report Share Posted December 16, 2002 Hi , Yes, is still on Lamictal. We are both eager and nervous to get her off the 62.5mg/bid dose she's on. I'm sure you can very well relate to that dichotomy of feelings! She wound up Keppra on Nov. 25th, and we are waiting to see a stable period yet. It's been surprisingly rough since she dropped completely. Thankfully, and with hope that I'm not jinxing her by saying this, the past two days have been better. We had agreed with the neuro that we'd give her a period of a month or two to plateau before throwing any medications changes at her, giving her brain a chance to adjust. One positive thing about the Lamictal wean is that we ought not have to drop as quickly as the Keppra, which had such a negative effect on her that we needed to purge as quickly as safe.
