Guest guest Posted December 19, 2005 Report Share Posted December 19, 2005 Hi everyone again While pretending to be Flo I thought I would mention 's talk in London last week (Flo has posted briefly on this). as ever was superb and as Flo said explained the proprioceptive sense wonderfully well - mind you I was having lunch with a friend today and could not even try to explain it. I understand but explanation is beyond me. As some of you may recall I was having a knee operation in the morning of this - it didn't happen. I am allergic to Latex, nothing major just skin rashes, but due to this I was first on the list ie clean theatre. Lying on my side having had a sedative and about to have a spinal people started coming out of the theatre. The nurse setting theatre up for me had been wearing latex gloves! So no operation! It's happening this Wednesday now. Pam, you'll be pleased to know that Flo carried out a very skilful manoeuvre to avoid talking to HRH Princess Anne. Unfortunately it could not have been very subtle as she was spotted doing this by someone we know. I got caught! You will also enjoy that when I saw Flo with another full glass of wine she had forgotten that she had driven to the train station. We walked from there on the way home. It was a very good evening.
