Guest guest
You have misplaced your measuring cups, spoons, and scale. How comfortable are you with just guessing on the amounts of servings? Would you run out to buy new ones to make sure your " guesses " are right? My answer: I would have to go out right away and get new ones! I am not very good at judging just by sight. The only thing that I would be comfortable with would be the veggies. Smile!

My Answer: I feel comfortable with some stuff, especially thing that I eat often and know about how big the serving should be. I feel very uncomfortable trying to guess other stuff that I don't have very often. I would (and did this past weekend) buy new cups and spoons. No, I didn't misplace my other ones, but I decided that I needed more than just one set! LOL!! What about you?? Maureen ~There are no strangers here... Guest guest
I would probably go out and get some more measuring equipment. However, I have not been measuring my foods and I'm thinking that this is half my battle right here. I've been guesstimating it and when I've got it on my plate I say to myself, " Well, that is way less than I ate before. " Last night I measured my food and was amazed at how little was on my plate so I've been over-guesstimating. Guest guest
You have misplaced your measuring cups, spoons, and scale. How comfortable are you with just guessing on the amounts of servings? Would you run out to buy new ones to make sure your "guesses" are right? My Answer:Ever since I went OP and purchased a food scale I would have a difficult time guessing on some items like pasta and meat. I found out in a quick hurry what I guessed and what was true were not the same thing. No wonder I was overweight! LOL I would probably run out and buy new ones. It has become hard to cook without these items. Guest guest
I would definitely buy new measuring utensils, but I wouldn't panic if I couldn't replace them right away. I could "wing it" using coffee cups and teaspoons, tablespoons from my everyday ware. Also, after years and years of cooking, estimating amounts wouldn't be as difficult - seems like you can tell approximate measurements, such as cup and TBS and tsp pretty closely, if not exactly accurate. Guest guest
I'd be one of the people running out to buy new ones. I weigh and measure EVERYTHING!!! Except of course things that can be counted like FF Pringles. Aimee 277.4/201.8/135 Visit my Site: http://www.AimeesAdventures.com You have misplaced your measuring cups, spoons, and scale.
