Guest guest
Dear Caro, This is definitely a refreshingly different thing to think about! Thanks for the idea :-) The first thing that came to mind for me was getting me out of an awful job. I had been planning to leave anyway when my car payments were finished which ended up being the month before I quit. But I do credit EDS with giving me the final push and determination to get the heck out of there. The flip side of course is I then couldn't figure out what other employment I could do. The other main thing I'd say is it taught me to question things and research them before coming to any conclusions. Say you hear something on the TV about some research results or just some supposed 'factoid' they throw at you. I no longer just say " Oh my " and take it for fact. Of course the internet has allowed me to do this as well cause without it I couldn't and wouldn't take a trip to a library. Hugs, B.
