That WAS an awfully busy highway !!! We stopped and got gas and a couple of soldiers were in there --- something we really don't see here !! I know I didn't get a 'true' look at Copperas Cove --- did get a pretty piece of Lampasas coming up from Burnet as we did !!!

Is there a lake nearby -- 'cove' --- didn't pay attn to any on the map !!

Like a college town -- all the eating places and all -- course, I did see 2 (I believe) different exits for colleges off of 190 --- busy, busy !!! Hugs, Randie

Thanks, Randie!Hey, I can't believe you drove up here to Lampasas County! I hope you enjoyed your trip. I love Fredericksburg, but haven't been in quite some time. As far as the traffic on 190 through Copperas Cove, Fort Hood, Killeen area.... We're grateful to have our soldiers back home, but it seems like all 40,000 of 'em are on the road at the same time somedays!!
