Keep up the good work! in Virginia 299/224/150 Lap RNY: 5/3/06 I Lost More!!!!!! Well I've been to my surgeon today for my 6 week checkup and my total of lbs lost is.......65 lbs!!!!. I am so excited. You all were right when you said that after the first month I would look back and say that this was worth it. I am beginning to feel it was all worth it, pain and all. Granted I was lucky in that I didn't have some of the problems that most have told us about. Mine was learning all the new things about eating and the hernia pain.....OUCH!!!!. I am doing better with all the drinking and eating slowly under control. I am still not getting all my protein but it's getting better slowly. Well just wanted to share and good luck to all who have just had their surgery and are starting. Everyone is right, it is worth it in the end. Don't become discouraged.
