Guest guest
, I love veggies, so that's not to hard to fit into the menu. I keep lots in the freezer (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, carrots) and in the refrigerator (at least one bag of salad mix, tomatoes, onions, cukes, etc.). The only canned veggies I seem to use lately are niblets corn and sliced mushrooms. I like to find ways to prepare veggies that make them more interesting , so my family won't be bored with them. That zucchini mix (fresh zucchini, sliced mushrooms, and a touch of minced onion - cooked in Hunt's tomato sauce with Italian Seasonings) is something I like to make often. My son enjoys it occasionally, but my DH and I could eat that every day As for keeping stocked in fruit - - I try to keep unsweetened fruit juices - Tropicana Orange Juice and Welch's Grape Juices (purple, red, and white) - on hand all the time. I also try to keep Mott's unsweetened applesauce in the pantry. Once in a while, I may buy canned peaches or pineapple that is packed in juice, too. Hope this may be helpful? Cherie Looking good, Cherie! You are really finding ways to get your fruits and veggies in every day!
