Mae is the same way ... I can see the beads of sweat forming under her dark

hair as she is nursing. Mae is a very warm baby to begin with though ... you

should see when her and DH snuggle up together .. both are drenched by the

end of the nap.

Amy-

My son was exactly like that! I forgot the scientific reasons why some

children sweat more than others, but its definitely not something to worry

about! Breastfeeding is a lot of work, and he's just showing it :)

I remember Clay sweating when he nursed. Funny you should ask.

Amy,

My son Zaid is one of the sweatiest kids I know. My daughter would never

sweat so at first I kept imagining he had all these horrible diseases that I

have seen in the hospital. Come to find out he is just sweaty. LOL He

sweats while nursing, sleeping, running etc. He can get bright red and

sweaty from running around, which is just like me. He also has a much

higher need for liquids than my dd ever did. He drinks tons of water and

nurses lots. (BTW he is 28 months old)

My children have all sweated like that when they were littler also. I wouldn't worry. Even when I stripped them down to just a t-shirt they still sweated.
