Guest guest
Crystal, There is another source of help for those attending their *first* conference. The Foundation has the Lee E. Norbury Memorial Scholarships which are given to families attending their first International CHARGE Syndrome Conference. The scholarship covers the cost of registration and hotel. Registration covers the 6 group meals during the 2-1/2 days conference. Families are responsible for their travel expenses and any additional meals, etc. 20 families benefited from the scholarship program this year. The number we can help in 2007 will depend on the funds available. We will have an application in the Fall 2006 newsletter, CHARGE Accounts. So to be sure you get the application when it is available, families are encouraged to keep their membership current. And a reminder to all our members on the CHARGE List: It's time to renew your membership now! Happy New Year to all! May it be the best one ever for you and your family! n Michele Westmaas wrote: > Crystal- > Did I give you the info on the Consumer Stipend Fund in Il to apply for > financial help to the conference??
