Kim,

Sorry, I am just now getting back to you about the voiding situation we faced

with . The one nurse in clinic agreed with you that needs to

see the neurologist and urologist. Thankyou for the ideas, I was just so plum

scared out of my wits that I needed someone on this listserv to think for me!

But, I am also beginning to think maybe it was neurological too.So, we went

ahead and called the Neurologist but she can't get in to see him until March

though! She also is going to see her Dr. in Genetics for her annual appt. soon

and I will see what he thinks as well. He can refer her on to a good urologist.

He is always asking about her kidneys and heart.

And to answer your question, no-- is not potty trained, we are no

where near that yet. She just started Developmental Preschool, so we will how

she progresses with the potty issue.

I guess I will tell you all what the Drs. find out--in the Spring!

Thanks Again,

n

n,

Has she had any more episodes of not going for so long? Hope it was a fluke

and nothing more. Even when you get to the docs, they may not be able to

tell you anything for sure. This is one of the things you should log and

keep an eye on, so if it happens again, you can begin to document a pattern,

which will help the docs if they can see it written down.

Kim

Ps - you are welcome
